Exploring our Sancerre terroirs. In the warm atmosphere of our chapel, our guide invites you to awaken your senses: sight, smell, taste, and touch allow you to appreciate the incredible geological diversity of Sancerre's three main terroirs. This very diversity gives rise to the fabulous aromatic richness of our wines… This special moment, including a visit to our new gravity-flow winery, is also an opportunity for us to share the history of our estate and our most remarkable plots with you. With passion, authenticity, and simplicity. And, of course, to introduce you to a tasting of three of our exceptional wines, paired with Crottin de Chavignol cheese and regional specialties. Sobre o anfitrião
The history of Domaine Hubert-Brochard has been written for five generations in Chavignol, a few kilometers from Sancerre. At the heart of the Appellation, the terroirs surrounding this charming village are particularly renowned. They thus offer a unique expression of Sauvignon Blanc, an emblematic grape variety of the Center-Loire. Our vines are located in two prestigious appellations: Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. We have always been keen to preserve and reflect the diversity of our terroirs in our wines. Sauvignon blanc and Pinot noir are planted on three main types of soil: white earth (clay-limestone), flint and caillottes (limestone soil). The estate is certified “High Environmental Value”. Part of the vineyard is in conversion and will be certified Organic Agriculture by 2026.
