Visit of the family's cellar with its century-old casks and tasting of 5 wines from the house's traditional range. The tasting is then followed by a meal, composed of a mug of soup followed by a vegetable quiche with salads and a glass of the house's wine. The meal ends with a slice of kougelhopf (local brioche) and biebalaskaas (cottage cheese with cream).

The Winery ZEYSSOLFF is one of the few wineries in Alsace who has about twenty century-old oak casks, each with a capacity of 10,000L and still in use nowadays for the vinification of its wines.

Its great curiosity is the ZEYSSOLFF cask, manufactured in 1897 for the Universal Exhibition in Paris (1900). This barrel is still in use today: it has been used to make the House's Pinot Gris for several generations.

This year, following the complete organic conversion of my Winery, I decided to renovate the cellar and take this opportunity to present our future visitors with a new activity.

This film is not a remake of what is already available today explaining the work in the vines…BUT, it’s a film on our personnal, and rather rich, family history as well as our work philosophy. It is screened at 180° in the cellar, on our centenary old oak casks (mapping on certain sequences) with fabulous sound effects that will enable the public to be in total immersion in our story.
