Visit and tasting
Get ready for a unique food and wine experience at Castrum Wine Relais.
The tasting takes place in the old cellar of Casa Fraccaroli, in one of the three stone rooms of the Castrum Wine Bistrò concept, or on the terrace located in Piazza del Borgo in Castelrotto. During the tasting, carefully selected gourmet products are served, paired with wines from our winery's PLATINUM collection: the CASTRUM line.

- Valpolicella Ripasso DOC served with loin aged in Amarone
- Valpolicella Classico served with Monte Veronese cheese aged in cherries and local mustard
- Valpolicella Amarone DOCG served with Monte Veronese Riserva cheese aged 60 months and local mustard
- IGT Corivina served with "La Corposa" – a shoulder aged in Amarone
Castrum Wine Relais and Borghetti Giampiero Winery offer a "concept" experience, a journey through wines, art, architecture, family history, and centuries-old traditions.

Nestled in the heart of Valpolicella Classica atop the tallest hill in Castelrotto village, Villa Fraccaroli is a historic 18th-century residence revitalized by the creation of Castrum Relais. The Fraccaroli family, with a winemaking tradition dating back to the 18th century, has transformed their estate into a vibrant destination. The cellar, once used for winemaking, is now the Castrum Wine Bar & Bistrò, while the modern winery operates in the estate's underground space, constructed in the 1980s under Paolo Borghetti's guidance. Villa Fraccaroli, with its rich history and prime location in Valpolicella Classica, produces a range of exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region. The estate's vineyards are carefully tended, producing wines that embody the traditional craftsmanship passed down through generations of the Fraccaroli family. The Castrum Wine Bar & Bistrò offers visitors a chance to experience these wines in a setting that combines historic charm with modern elegance, all while enjoying breathtaking views of the valley and the peaks of Lessinia.
