Nestled in the heart of the Pic Saint-Loup appellation, the Bergerie du Capucin is much more than a wine estate. It embodies a true haven of passion and know-how, where the vine is the center of all attention. Founded in 2008 by Guilhem VIAU, a winemaker deeply attached to his terroir, the estate embodies the very essence of this growing appellation. On clay-limestone soils bathed in the Mediterranean sun, our vines give birth to wines that reflect all the typicity and elegance of Pic Saint-Loup. Here, each bunch is cared for with respect, and each vintage tells a unique story. At the Bergerie du Capucin, the balance between tradition and innovation is at the heart of our approach. We favor organic viticulture and therefore respect for the environment, by promoting biodiversity and sustainable practices. This philosophy is found in our wines, where the authenticity of the grape varieties is fully expressed, with powerful and elegant reds, fresh and mineral whites, and a delicate and gourmet rosé.
