Immerse yourself in the authentic world of natural winemaking with Matteo, a passionate vigneron who uses historic methods to produce wines that respect the land and tradition.
Located on a 15th-century estate in the rolling hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, the winery offers an intimate and historically rooted experience. Your visit begins with a stroll through the vineyards, followed by a tour of the winery, where you can witness firsthand the dedication to natural winemaking.
The guided tasting includes three unique interpretations of Glera, showing how this grape variety can be expressed in different styles:
- This is not - Still Glera, vinified in white
- This is not - Glera Colfondo, the traditional method of winemaking
- Extra Brut - Glera Metodo Charmat
All tastings are personally led by Matteo, ensuring a direct and engaging experience in the world of natural wines.

Sobre o anfitrião
Monban offers an authentic experience in the Prosecco hills and is recognized by Slow Wine as one of the best wineries in the area. Located in the heart of the Conegliano and Valdobbiadene hills, just minutes from Conegliano, it is set within a beautiful estate that also houses the 15th century Montalban Tower. Although Monban is located in the heart of the region, it is far from a typical Prosecco winery. Matteo comes from one of the most renowned families in the region, with a winemaking tradition dating back to 1542. Despite having the opportunity to work in the family winery, he chose to follow his own vision, dedicating himself to a small-scale reality entirely shaped by his philosophy. His approach to winemaking is inspired by the past: spontaneous fermentations, minimal use of sulphites and no filtration. The wines are vinified in the historic cellar, using the original concrete tanks from the 1960s. Annual production is limited to just 10,000 bottles, consisting mainly of still wines and Colfondo, a traditional style refermented in the bottle, now almost completely replaced by the Charmat method (fermentation in an autoclave).
