Visit and tasting

Enjoy the views of the Prosecco hills while tasting Matteo's natural wines paired with local cured meats and cheeses. Located in a 15th-century estate nestled in the rolling hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, the winery offers an intimate and historically rooted experience. Your visit begins with a walk through the vineyards, followed by a tour of the cellar. The guided tasting includes a Marzemino and three unique interpretations of Glera, showcasing how this grape variety can be expressed in different styles: - Questo non è - Still Glera, vinified as white wine - Questo neanche - Glera Colfondo, the traditional method of winemaking - Extra Brut - Glera Charmat Method - Il Rosso / Il Rosato - Marzemino The wines will be paired with local cured meats and cheeses selected from small artisan producers in addition to other seasonal cold products. All tastings are personally conducted by Matteo, ensuring a direct and engaging experience in the world of natural wines.

Monban offers an authentic experience in the Prosecco hills and is recognized by Slow Wine as one of the best wineries in the area. Located in the heart of the Conegliano and Valdobbiadene hills, just minutes from Conegliano, it is set within a beautiful estate that also houses the 15th century Montalban Tower. Although Monban is located in the heart of the region, it is far from a typical Prosecco winery. Matteo comes from one of the most renowned families in the region, with a winemaking tradition dating back to 1542. Despite having the opportunity to work in the family winery, he chose to follow his own vision, dedicating himself to a small-scale reality entirely shaped by his philosophy. His approach to winemaking is inspired by the past: spontaneous fermentations, minimal use of sulphites and no filtration. The wines are vinified in the historic cellar, using the original concrete tanks from the 1960s. Annual production is limited to just 10,000 bottles, consisting mainly of still wines and Colfondo, a traditional style refermented in the bottle, now almost completely replaced by the Charmat method (fermentation in an autoclave).
