Oenological workshop
The Munster Valley is a traditional terroir where the cultivation of vines is closely linked to the production of the famous Munster cheese. Today, this custom continues and has expanded to include goat cheeses and mountain tommes. Taste and discuss these food and wine pairings with the winemaker!

Sobre o anfitrião
On the edge of the wine route, at the gateway to the Munster Valley, the hillsides of Wihr-au-Val rise up to 500m above sea level. The granite soils and the extreme conditions of vine growing on these foothills of the Vosges allow the pure and subtle expression of Alsatian grape varieties. Since the 1950s, these steep hillsides have been worked with the greatest respect for the terroir, landscapes and biodiversity, with the aim of highlighting places renowned in France and internationally: Linsenberg, Herrenreben and Holder. Today, it is a 17ha vineyard certified Organic Agriculture that Jérôme Mendelin and Jean-Philippe Manchès work with passion.
