Visit and tasting
Through an electric-assist bicycle tour in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, discover the different terroirs that make up the oldest appellation in France (1936).
On your smartphone, you will have access to our guiding application which includes 6 points of interest where a video will be offered: Edouard Guerin, our Technical Director, explains our different soils: Limestone shards, Rolled pebbles, Red sandstone.
François Miquel, General Manager of l'Oratoire des Papes, presents the "Safres" (sandy soils) and the salt pond.
After the ride, Maison Ogier invites you to discover its century-old aging cellars.
This visit will conclude with a tasting of our different vintages, allowing you to connect all the knowledge acquired during this oenological tour.

Founded in 1859, Maison Ogier is located in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, in the heart of the most prestigious appellation in the southern Rhône Valley. We seek out the finest plots of land, perfectly suited to the practices that align with our vision of Rhône wines: an identity centered on Grenache, the emblematic grape variety for our southern reds, and Syrah for our northern appellations, which together express a subtle alchemy of pure fruit, freshness, and depth. For our white wines, which are blends and predominantly Grenache Blanc, the style also emphasizes pure fruit, minerality, and complexity. We invite you to delve deeper into this introductory experience through guided tours and tastings of our wines from the Rhône Valley, a vineyard of a thousand facets.
