Livio Soria is one of Calosso's leading wineries, combining its fresh approach with ancient traditions. The Soria family's business dates back to the late 1800s, when Silvio Soria, Alberto's great-grandfather, began growing and vinifying estate-owned grapes in Rodotiglia in the municipality of Calosso, a village nestled in the hills between the Langhe and Monferrato regions, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014. Nestled in a green sea of vineyards, this beautiful land has yielded unique wines, now known worldwide under the Asti denomination, such as Barbera and Moscato. With the next generation, Mario and his son Livio, the winery began its growth. Livio personally dedicates himself to the care of the vineyards and every cellar operation, constantly striving to improve the quality of winemaking, ensuring excellence that he can proudly pass on to his son Alberto, who has been at his side at the helm of the company since 2012. Alberto brought energy and drive to the family business, particularly promoting its flagship grape variety: Barbera.
