Visit and tasting
Have you always dreamed of creating your own wine? Here is a unique opportunity in a magical place in the heart of Paris! For 2 hours, guided by a sommelier, you will learn about wine, while having fun and playing the apprentice winemaker to create your own vintage.
In Les Caves du Louvre, you will take a seat to taste the different juices as the basis of your wine, discovering their specificities and their own characteristics. Up to you ! Test tubes, flasks and pipettes in hand, you will then compose your wine according to your tastes by playing the apprentice chemist! Once your assembly is defined, you will create your own label using our application.
You will not leave with your own bottle of wine before having tasted a wine chosen by your sommelier for a final discovery around the tasting bar... in all simplicity.

Les Caves du Louvre is a splendid hidden gem of 18th century that was once a royal wine cellar. King Louis XV’s sommelier ordered the construction of a magnificent mansion and established a wine supply business in these caves. The spaces extended, through a network of tunnels, as far as the Louvre, and history relates that in this way wine could be supplied to the Palace in complete discretion. It was recently entirely renovated and opened to the public for the first time. We invite you to discover the secrets of French wine through a sensory and interactive experience in a beautiful wine cellar!
