Ancient castles, small hilltop villages among vineyards and woods: we are in Monferrato, a land of peasant traditions and centuries-old history. Here, the production of wine in the Vellano family has very ancient origins, with documents that affirm the activity starting as far back as the 16th century. A story of love for wine and for the territory, handed down from father to son. In the current cellar located in Camino Monferrato, a wide portfolio of wines is offered: from the Monferrini classics such as Grignolino and Barbera, to more particular and innovative blended wines. The choice is then completed with the products of the moment to be enjoyed directly at home: our Aperiboxes, aperitif sets that include one of our wines, a compote and a matching cheese. The wine business is combined with that of the Ca' San Sebastiano Country Resort: a charming structure in the greenery of the Piedmontese vineyards, with a cellar, spa and gourmet restaurant. The structure was obtained from the careful restoration of some brick and tuff farmhouses, with clay tiled roofs, but has taken on over time, with the addition of details and objects 'unearthed' in the various Italian and French markets, an almost Provençal style. Here you can combine simple country life with exclusive comforts such as a delightful wellness center specializing in treatments for couples, and taste the dishes of Piedmontese culture served in elegant but always traditional settings.
