Visit and tasting
- Discovery of the exterior of the castle: explanations on the history of the property and the classification of the grands crus of Saint Emilion
- Presentation of the vineyard: explanations on the local grape varieties, the terroir, and the cultivation methods followed at Château Franc Mayne.
- Visit to the wine cellar: explanations on the winemaking process with stainless steel vats, but also plot selection
- In-depth visit to the underground quarries: complete crossing of the underground galleries highlighted by the scenographer Eric Le Collen. These underground galleries are dug into the limestone plateau in Astéries (hence the name of the visit).
This visit will be followed by a guided tasting of 3 wines from the property in the tasting cellar:
- ILEX by Franc Mayne: 100% Merlot Saint Emilion Grand Cru vintage
- 2 vintages of Château Franc Mayne Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classé

Grand cru classé of Saint-Emilion, Château Franc Mayne is located 1km from the village which can be reached by the paths crossing the vineyards of the appellation. Set back from the road and sheltered by two majestic cedars, it offers a panoramic view of seven hectares of vines cultivated with the greatest respect for the environment. Château Franc Mayne benefits from an exceptional diversity of terroirs. At the instigation of the new owner and the new director, the men and women in place apply themselves to creating a wine which subtly expresses this richness and reveals all its character.
