Visit and tasting
We are a family winery with a long winemaking tradition and one of the founding wineries of the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin.
• We begin the visit in the vineyard that we have next to the winery, explaining our viticulture philosophy.
• We go to the warehouse where the process of
wine making.
•Next we enter the underground cellar
from the 16th century, carved out of the rock by hand. This is where they perform
the aging of our ValSotillo wines and we explain the history of wine in Sotillo de la Ribera.
•Finally, the ValSotillo wine tasting takes place

Sobre o anfitrião
We are a family winery with a long winemaking tradition and one of the founding wineries of the Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero In 1979 Ismael Arroyo, his wife and children, descendants of winegrowers for several generations, created Bodegas Ismael Arroyo-Valsotillo. Thus we continue the tradition of grandparents and great-grandparents. Promoters of the Ribera del Duero DO, today our wines and our 16th century underground cellar attract visitors from all over the world.
