We have been making wines, vermouths, and fortified wines since 1886, all with a Mediterranean character and a deep-rooted family heritage. Padró i Família is a century-old, family-run winery stretching back over five generations dedicated to these crafts, keeping alive a winemaking philosophy that has been passed down from parent to child. It all began in Bràfim (Tarragona, at the time a tiny village of just 400 inhabitants, where Daniel Padró and Rosa Valldosera opened a modest business with a single press and a simple distillery. There, they made and sold wines, mistelas, spirits and aniseed liqueurs, distributing them in large oak casks transported by cart throughout the region. That humble, artisanal beginning continues to define the way we work today: respect for our craft, our land, and the passage of time.
