The Piéblanc estate was created in 2014 in Caromb at the foot of Mont Ventoux by Matthieu Ponson, who became a winemaker out of passion. Now established at the foot of the village of Gigondas in a functional, gravity-fed cellar with contemporary architecture, the estate is made up of islands of vines near the Dentelles de Montmirail: on the heights of Caromb for the AOC Ventoux, in Suzette in terraces for the red AOC Beaumes de Venise, around the cellar in AOC Gigondas and finally in Jonquières in AOC Côtes du Rhône. The estate produces fresh wines from this beautiful region by magnifying the different local grape varieties: mainly Grenache noir and Syrah but also Cinsault, Carignan for reds and rosés; Viognier, Roussanne and Grenache blanc for the whites, all planted on different terroirs in order to craft wines with assertive complexity. The 2020 vintage marks the culmination of three years of conscientious work with the obtaining of the "Organic Agriculture" label.
