Visit and tasting
The tour begins with a walk through the vineyard, among the bush vines planted on the typical dry-stone wall terraces overlooking the Volcano, to learn all the secrets of Etna viticulture. It continues with a visit to the winery, where native varieties are vinified, enhancing the specific characteristics of the winemaking tradition that originates on the slopes of Etna.
The tour concludes in the tasting room created from the renovation of the old nineteenth-century palmento (wine press), a place rich in charm and history. Here you have the opportunity to taste 5 wines: Trainara Doc Etna Bianco, Vignazza Doc Etna Rosato, Croceferro Doc Etna Rosso, plus two wines of your choice from the Sciaramanica Doc Etna Rosso cru or old vintages of Trainara and Croceferro from those available.

Sobre o anfitrião
Generazione Alessandro is a winery and wine tourism company founded by three cousins, Benedetto, Anna, and Benedetto Alessandro. They are the fourth generation of a family of winemakers since the early 1900s, and in 2000 they founded the historic Alessandro di Camporeale winery in the province of Palermo. Driven by the volcano's allure and their passion for wine, the three cousins decided to embark on an ambitious project on Etna, focused on producing wines with a strong identity, expressing the volcano's northeast slope, sourced from the ten hectares of vineyards on which the winery extends. Having always specialized in the hospitality sector thanks to their work at the family business, they also decided to renovate the old 19th-century winery in Contrada Borriglione in Linguaglossa, creating, in addition to the cellar, a splendid tasting room.
