Start your morning at Vins el Cep, a winery with roots dating back to 1448. Discover the story of the union of four winegrowing families and their legacies. Stroll through vineyards and forests, explore our winery, and enjoy a tasting of wines and cavas in a privileged setting in Espiells.
Second Step: Gastronomy with Identity
At midday, enjoy lunch at the El Cigró d'Or restaurant, where chef Oriol Llavina interprets Catalan cuisine with local and seasonal products. A warm and welcoming space located in the Meat Market of Vilafranca del Penedès. El Cigró d'Or is a sure bet for lovers of good food.
Third Step: History and Culture of Wine
Just a two-minute walk away, end your day with a visit to VINSEUM, the Museum of Wine Cultures of Catalonia, located in an old palace in Vilafranca del Penedès.

Sobre o anfitrião
In 1980, the Carreras (Can Prats), Esteve (Can Simon), Masana (Can Castany) and Parera (Can Miquel de les Planes) families founded VINS EL CEP. Since the 15th century, these four families have worked the vineyards and made wines, maintaining and transmitting their experience, enthusiasm and knowledge. One of the main efforts of Vins el Cep has always been to prioritise respect for the environment and to achieve cavas of the highest quality and uniqueness. In 2003, they began to apply organic farming techniques and were pioneers in biodynamic agriculture in the Penedès. They only make terroir wines and cavas. Their brands: Cava: Claror, Clos Gelida, Mim Natura, L'Alzinar Wines: Clot del Roure, GR5 senders and Ot.
