Visit and tasting
Experience an authentic journey on the slopes of Vesuvius with our "Wine Tasting Classico con Lunch", a complete exploration of wine, territory, and tradition.
The experience begins with a guided walk through the volcanic vineyards, where you will discover the history of the Russo family and the unique characteristics of the lava soil that give minerality and structure to our wines. This is followed by a cellar tour with an explanation of the production process, from harvest to aging.
The tour culminates with a guided tasting of 5 selected Vesuvio Lacryma Christi DOC wines, paired with a typical 3-course Neapolitan lunch prepared with local and seasonal ingredients. Each course is designed to enhance the characteristics of the wines, in a perfect balance of tradition, taste, and a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Naples.
A perfect experience for those who wish to discover the authentic soul of Vesuvius through its wine and local cuisine.

Cantina del Vesuvio is a historic family-run winery located on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, in the heart of the National Park. The Russo family has been cultivating vineyards on volcanic soil since 1930, producing organic wines that express the authentic identity of the lava soil and Mediterranean climate. Our philosophy is based on quality and exclusivity: we are the only winery in the area to sell exclusively directly, with no distribution to restaurants, wine shops, or supermarkets. This allows us to maintain full control of production and guarantee our guests unique wines, available only at the winery. Cantina del Vesuvio is now a leading wine tourism destination on Mount Vesuvius, offering immersive experiences among organic vineyards, the winery, and traditional cuisine, with panoramic views of the Gulf of Naples, the island of Capri, and the Sorrento Peninsula.
