For four generations the vines, kissed by the warm and generous sun of Salento, obey the times of nature, follow the rhythm marked by the lunar cycles to give their fruit that will have the sweet smell of must. It takes time to become unique, recognizable, unmistakable. The wine rests in barrels and bottles, for as long as necessary. It is a story that repeats itself, always new and yet faithful to itself, for four generations. Since 1870 when Noè Apollonio began this adventure, followed by his son Marcello who during the Belle Époque gave a modern edge to the small company. In the years of the Italian economic boom it was his son Salvatore who inaugurated the entrepreneurial era. Today it is his sons, Marcello and Massimiliano, who lead the company taking it beyond national borders, exporting all over the world, a brand that is synonymous with quality and reliability. A long and intense history of a company that has earned the title of “Historic Company of Italy”.
