The Oliveto Castle built in 1424 by the noble and prestigious Florentine Pucci family, is one of the most beautiful fortified villas in Tuscany. The building, whose name derives from the numerous olive cultivations surrounding the Castle, is located on the top of a hill, well protected by moats, walls and towers. Today the Castle is at the center of an efficient and modern agricultural company which has relaunched, among other things, the characteristic hospitality of the Castle, a destination for agritourism holidays, and the typical production of wines and oil.
