On this exceptional site, classified as a Historic Monument, our guides will take you back through the significant eras that have shaped the estate and its iconic 13th-century castle, from its majestic towers to its 12th-century chapel. The tour continues through the vineyards, the winemaking cellar, and the aging cellar, for an in-depth immersion into the work of the vines and the creation of our wines. The experience concludes with a guided tasting of our vintages, followed by a complimentary bottle of our Réserve at the end of the tasting. Nestled amidst breathtaking Mediterranean landscapes, the estate, with its 13th-century château, offers a unique heritage. A blend of tradition and modernity, wine here is the fruit of ancient culture and ancestral know-how. Indeed, the Preignes le Vieux estate is built upon Roman ruins that bear witness to winemaking activity dating back over 2,000 years. Nestled among the vineyards, this magical and enchanting place transports you back in time: close your eyes and you might imagine Roman merchants traveling the Via Domitia and the vibrant life of the castle during the Middle Ages… Join the festivities!
