Visit and tasting
This spectacular visit will allow you to unlock the secrets of Jean-Baptiste Ackerman, the pioneer of fine Loire bubbles, and to understand the method of producing Saumur fine bubble wines.
Guided tour of our troglodyte cellars, historic site of Maison Ackerman. During your stroll through our tuffeau cellars, you will be told about two centuries of creating fine bubbles. Thanks to the exceptional presence of a historian, you will uncover all the secrets of the history of the House and its historic vintage, the Royal range. Then you will admire the artistic installations created specifically for our majestic troglodyte galleries as part of the Ackerman-Fontevraud artistic residency. At the end of the visit, our ambassador will offer you a tasting of a selection of the House's vintages.
A tasting of sparkling grape juice (without alcohol) is offered to children.
