Visit and tasting
Delve into the history of the appellation and the terroirs of Châteauneuf-du-Pape during a guided tour. During this visit, you will have the opportunity to discover our organically cultivated vineyard. You will discover the secrets of our winemaking cellar and our underground aging cellar, where we perpetuate a know-how passed down for five generations. You will learn more about our environmentally friendly production and cultivation methods. The visit will conclude with a tasting of five vintages, offering you an opportunity to taste and compare the different expressions of our terroirs, enriching your knowledge and appreciation of Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines.

Sobre o anfitrião
The family estate has been perpetuated for five generations historically by the Mayard family, then Roumieux. Founded in 1923, Clos du Calvaire makes way for new generations. Françoise Roumieux, surrounded by her children Nicolas and Coline, run the estate in search of respect for the terroir and balance. At the heart of the Châteauneuf du Pape vines is the estate, which covers 32 hectares of organic farming. Respect for the terroir guides our practices, in order to reconstitute living soils and produce wines that transmit emotion. Located in the south of the appellation, the estate opens its doors all year round to wine enthusiasts and lovers, inviting you to discover the heart of the vines, between the cellar, the winemaking and aging cellars. Working alongside a passionate team, you will discover from vines to wine, the methods of production, breeding and management of the vines.
