Buonivini is located in the heart of the Val di Noto: between the late Baroque cities of Noto and Modica, the seaside villages of Marzamemi and Portopalo di Capo Passero, the Vendicari nature reserve. The Planeta family's third step towards the discovery and valorization of Sicilian viticulture takes place in Buonivini, the historical name of the district which reveals its centuries-old winemaking tradition. The reason that leads us to this place is Nero d'Avola, today the undisputed prince of Sicilian viticulture. The Buonivini Estate extends over gentle hills designed by the geometries of the vineyards that alternate with young almond groves and majestic carob trees. The visit to the estate leads between past and present to the discovery of the Invisible Cellar, a harmoniously integrated architectural project in the landscape and the Palmento, the place where farmers produced wine in the past. We have always combined our passion for Sicily with the desire to best welcome those who want to discover it. Our cellars have never been just spaces dedicated to the production of wine, but places of hospitality, linked to cuisine, nature and culture. We have built hospitality in our cellars in Menfi, Vittoria, Noto, Etna and Capo Milazzo as a true collection of experiences tailored to each territory and each guest, linked to the uniqueness of each place, the wines, the beauty of the landscape.
