Sarmede, the fairytale town that every year hosts the famous International Children's Illustration Exhibition, is a range of villages and stone houses nestled on the slopes of Cansiglio, north of Conegliano, suspended between hills and pre-Alps. Here, in the midst of meadows, woods and vineyards, the Da Ros family has always lived and it is here, on the family land, that in 2009 Andrea and Daniele Da Ros decided to found their winery "Masot - Fairy tales of wine" , taking advantage of the teachings of grandfather Arturo and what was learned from students of the prestigious “Cerletti” wine school in Conegliano. Andrea and Daniele decided to mark the link with family tradition by choosing an emblematic and symbolic name for their company: "masot", or "small landowner", is in fact the historical nickname of the Da Ros, people who have made love for the land and respect for its rhythms are its reference values. Ours is a proudly family-run company, which honors the traditions of the past and courageously looks to the future: a future of passion and fairy tales, flavors and aromas. Now imagine the wine that comes from a fairytale territory: a rich, imaginative, convivial wine with a happy ending enriched by aromas, perfumes and persistent hints. This is no longer imagination but the discovery of our wines, each with a different story to tell, to savor and, above all, to share.
