The Casa Vinicola Melini is based in Gaggiano, at an altitude of 300 meters on the Chianti Classico hills along the road that leads from Poggibonsi to Castellina. It owns 556 hectares in the Chianti area, between Siena and Florence, with a vineyard covering an area of 136 hectares. Melini has a long tradition that dates back to 1705, the year of its foundation. A tradition based on the enhancement and characterization of Chianti Classico. His is the story of Chianti itself and of the first efforts to impose it on the international market.
