Visit and tasting
Come and discover our profession! We will guide you through an experience full of discoveries. We will first go to our cellars to understand how wine is made. All the steps will be explained to you, from the cultivation of the vine to your glass of wine. We will talk about history, local culture, agriculture, harvests, vinification, breeding and aging, bottling, distribution and much more. After this tour, we will take a seat for a tasting of 5 wines accompanied by Crottins de Chavignol, the good local goat cheese! If you do not want to taste wine, do not panic, we will offer you a blind tasting of local syrups. It does not matter if it is your first wine tasting or if you are an experienced taster, this commented tasting will delight all your senses.

Sobre o anfitrião
Located in the south-east of Sancerre, the Eric Louis estate is the fourth generation to cultivate with love, passion and respect for nature, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir on 35 hectares of vines. Our tasting cellar is open from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for a tasting of our wines from Sancerre and other neighboring appellations as well as for wine tourism experiences. We are keen to discover our profession, the secrets of the appellation and the rich history of our family through our cellar visits. Obtaining the “Vignobles et Découvertes” label in 2016 was a great reward.
