By visiting one of our vineyards, you will learn how we care for the grapes and our experience in wine production.
We will tell you the history of the estate, which dates back to before 1700 and is linked to the Strozzi family.
You will then explore our ancient cellars and learn about the special requirements and techniques used for the vinification of our wines.
Afterwards, you can practice your wine tasting skills by discovering our organic sparkling wines, Chianti Rufina DOCG and Riserva.

Fattoria Lavacchio is located 18km from Florence. The Tuscan estate is a typical family-run business, immersed in the enchanting succession of hills rich in vineyards and olive groves. Among the companies of a certain size present in the Chianti Rufina production area, Fattoria Lavacchio is one of the pioneers to join organic and biodynamic production programs; convinced adhesion, arising from the philosophy that the company has always pursued: harmonizing its activity with the balance established by nature.
