Tasting
Whether you are wine enthusiasts or simply curious to savor some of Tuscany's finest products, we guarantee a peaceful and splendid experience characterized by our simplicity and the family atmosphere that distinguishes us. You can taste our products in the relaxing atmosphere of our indoor room or outdoors, fully immersing yourself in the surroundings of our beautiful typical Tuscan farmhouse and the views that surround our estate.
The tasting includes sampling 4 of our wines, those that we define as our "special" wines, for each of which we produce less than 1000 bottles...an experience reserved for a few!

Tenuta Sovestro is a magical place, where the charm of a farmhouse, history, and the Tuscan countryside blend together in a perfect setting. Just 2 km from San Gimignano, in a finely renovated stone farmhouse with 16 rooms, you'll have the opportunity to taste the most iconic products of our hills: our wines and our extra virgin olive oil. The estate is a small family-run business. The owners, born and raised in San Gimignano, have successfully run a restaurant just a few meters from the estate for almost half a century. We are located in a land of fine wines, with a thousand-year history. It is in this context that Tenuta Sovestro was born, a young company that aims to continue the winemaking tradition of San Gimignano, with an innovative and sustainable approach. We currently produce three white wines (two Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCGs and a Toscana IGT white), an IGT rosé, and three red wines (a Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG, a Chianti Riserva, and a Rosso Toscana IGT). Whether you're a wine enthusiast or simply curious to savor some of Tuscany's finest wines, we guarantee a peaceful and wonderful experience, characterized by our unpretentious, family-like atmosphere. Tastings can be booked daily at the estate, and can be customized to your needs.
