Visit and tasting
It takes its name from the 200 Monks who inhabited the disappeared Monastery of San Martín de Albelda and who dedicated their lives to safeguarding culture.
We write it with a "G" because that is how the word appears at the dawn of Castilian Spanish.
The visit begins by explaining our project, from its characteristic and emblematic name to the birth of the winery.
We will introduce you to our 200 Monges Universe through wine, art, and culture.
The tour runs through the precious labyrinth of cellars, among wooden vats, oak barrels, and bottle racks where our most iconic wines are made and aged.
In the Monk's Cave, we can admire the fascinating miniatures of the impressive facsimile of the Albeldense Codex (year 974), a "jewel of medieval miniature".
At the end of the visit, we will taste 3 wines from the 200 Monges family accompanied by an aperitif: "the Monk's refreshment".
