Located in the heart of the Alentejo, Herdade dos Grous was founded in 2004 in the largest region of Portugal, where the continental climate with Mediterranean influences offers the ideal conditions for the production of great wines. With an area of 1,100 hectares, the estate offers a unique experience, where you can discover wines, gastronomy and wine tourism of the highest quality, creating unforgettable memories for those who visit us. Herdade dos Grous is a wine estate that combines tradition and innovation. The focus on precision viticulture and sustainable vineyard management results in wines of great elegance and complexity, reflecting the authenticity of the Alentejo terroir. The winery, surrounded by stunning landscapes, is based on respect for nature, practicing excellent viticulture. In addition to wine, the estate is dedicated to raising sheep and cattle of native breeds, organic farming of vegetables and fruits and the production of olive oil. Our visitors can discover all this, as well as explore the tourist side of the estate. With 24 elegantly decorated accommodation units that preserve the regional style, we provide the perfect refuge for a few days of relaxation. The rural environment invites you to enjoy walks with your partner or family, in an idyllic and unforgettable setting. In our restaurant, you can enjoy typical Alentejo cuisine, giving preference to products grown on the estate, under an organic system.
