The history of Maison Rivier begins with Mathieu's return, in 2016, on the family farm managed by Claude and Nathalie since 1981 (Earl Ouliveto). Together, they decide to build Maison Rivier in order to market their own vintages, paying tribute to the 6 generations of the Rivier family. Located in Chusclan in the Côtes du Rhône region, 20 km north of Avignon, the estate extends over 70 hectares spread over 5 communes, offering a great diversity of terroirs, it also includes 350 olive trees.
