Located in the heart of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, in Provence, Domaine Bertaud Belieu showcases its expertise through authentic wines made from emblematic grape varieties such as Mourvèdre, Rolle, Cinsault, Tibouren, Grenache, and Syrah. The estate's history dates back to the 14th century when the Lord of Bertaud gave his name to these lands already planted with vines, making Bertaud Belieu the very first vineyard in Saint-Tropez. It was not until the late 1980s that the estate was attached to the Belieu district and completely restored, modernized, and developed. Today, the estate covers 60 hectares: 70% on the plain on clay-silt soils, and 30% on hillsides on schist and granite soils. 35 hectares are currently in production, with an average of 170,000 bottles per year. A wine-growing estate committed to sustainable viticulture for over ten years, the estate will have its 2026 vintage certified 100% organic. Under the watchful eye of our cellar master, Fabien Godrie, the 3rd generation winemaker on the estate, our wines are distinguished by winemaking that is both traditional and innovative: Burgundy eggs, stoneware jars, French oak barrels, and temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. This unique approach reflects our identity and allows us to offer a range of varied wines for all occasions.
