Château de Sancerre is one of the few French châteaux to bear the name of an appellation. Located on the left bank of the Loire, Château de Sancerre dominates a unique terroir of 4 different soils, which includes 57 hectares of vineyard, planted with vines with an average age of 30 years. The rolling hills and semi-continental climate of the region produce Sauvignon Blanc with a beautiful structure, lively and fresh, evoking aromas of white fruits, yellow fruits and white flowers. The wines of Château de Sancerre are vinified and aged until bottling, directly on the estate. The art of blending is demanding to remain faithful to the motto of the Constable of Sancerre: “Come before the Best”.
