Visit and tasting
Come visit Joseph Mellot's historic winery located in the heart of Sancerre.
Also, until September, discover our temporary exhibition dedicated to Pierre Amiel: painter, visual artist, sculptor, and poet. These works come to life in our beautiful winery.
The tour lasts approximately 1 hour and includes a tasting of 4 wines, including 2 prestigious vintages paired with the local goat cheese: Crottin de Chavignol.
As a producer of the 8 appellations of the Centre-Loire region, we will explain all the specificities of our beautiful region as well as the secrets of winemaking.

Sobre o anfitrião
Joseph Mellot is a family and historic House in Sancerre for 5 centuries, whose history begins with Pierre-Etienne Mellot, 1st of a long line of winegrowers. At the end of the 17th century, César Mellot was adviser to King Louis XIV. Over time, the House has grown by acquiring other areas. We can therefore now offer you a wide variety of wines from the Centre-Loire.
