Maison Léon Baur, founded in 1738, is managed by Jean-Louis Baur and his daughter Caroline. The Alsace grape varieties are aged in the wooden casks of the old cellars located under the ramparts of the city. Our estate has been able to turn towards progress while preserving its traditional know-how, by practicing its activity in particular with respect for the environment and by obtaining the HVE (High Environmental Value) certification: our work in the vineyard is respectful of the floors
