Visit and tasting
We will start the visit with an introduction (history, AOP Côtes de Provence,...).
Then, we will take a walk in the vineyard during which we will explain our working methods (pruning + method of driving the vines, manual harvesting, tillage, etc.).
We will end our walk in the cellar where we will explain the harvest and the vinification to you. You will then see the fermentation room, the barrel cellar and our bottling apparatus.
Finally, we will taste at least 5 cuvées from the Domaine together. During this tasting, I will give you explanations on the desire of the winemaker and his team to make wines of excellence in total harmony with the nature that surrounds us.

Sobre o anfitrião
The Domaine de la Navicelle is located in the heart of the Provence on the Northern slope of a hill called Colle Noire, near the littoral conservatory. The vines are terraced on heavy clay soils and a rocky subsoil composed of limestone, sandstone and schists. The north orientation and proximity of the sea protects us from heat and allows us, without irrigation, to produce generous and complex wines, with a fine minerality and a real "Terroir" identity. In total, the Domaine exploits approximately 20 hectares of vines. Different varieties are planted: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Tibouren for reds and rosés, Rolle, Clairette and Muscat for whites. To exploit this exceptional terroir, we work in compliance with organic farming and we have been respecting the principles of biodynamic farming for many years. Our wish: produce the best wines in total harmony with the environment around us.
