Visit and tasting
With its underground cellars and its 35-hectare vineyard, including 3 hectares of Chenin, Château de Mercuès is one of the great Malbec wines and is an essential stop on the Cahors wine route.
This exceptional place opens its doors to you to taste its great Malbec wines.
The guided tour starts outside to evoke the history of the Château and to observe the panorama overlooking the vineyards.
The visit continues in the ageing cellar where the barrels are wisely aligned to create a unique alchemy, where evocative scents swirl around and where each vintage of the Château is born with ever greater care, mastery and enthusiasm.
It ends with the tasting of 6 wines of the Château.
The meeting point for the beginning of the visit is at the reception of the Château.
