At Domaine Cazes, three generations of winegrowers have worked with the same artisan-winemaker spirit since 1895. For more than 25 years, the entire 220-hectare estate has been cultivated biodynamically. Domaine Cazes works in total harmony between the grape varieties, the climate, the fauna and flora, the environment, the land, and the men and women who work it. The development of natural sweet wines, with shimmering colors and multiple aromas, is an art that Domaine Cazes has practiced for 75 years with unparalleled consistency and rigor. Domaine Cazes' natural sweet wines are gently aged in century-old cellars and tasted in the best restaurants in the world. The vineyard covers an area of 220 hectares with a diversification inspired by our thirst to understand and try new things, but also by the many terroirs that exist in the region. These terroirs are ideally located at the crossroads of the Agly terraces, straddling the villages of Rivesaltes and Salses-le-Château. The soil, predominantly clay-limestone, with schist rubble and siliceous pebbles, is remarkably favorable to the production of very high quality wines.
