Domaines Uijttewaal represents the family farm created by Adrien Uijttewaal, a farmer with Dutch roots. In the 1980s, Adrien left the family dairy farm to harvest grapes in the North Médoc. He then became a winemaker and built from scratch a vineyard of today 55 ha, located on the edge of the estuary and in the town of Queyrac, with the ambition of creating wines in pure tradition, recognized for their high quality. . He has never abandoned his first passion for animals and manages, alongside wine production, a breeding farm of 180 Blondes d'Aquitaine cows. In 2017, his daughter Elise joined the estate with the aim of making the estate's wines more widely known in France and internationally. She is at the origin of the wine tourism development of the area which offers several events throughout the year. These enthusiasts want above all to help you discover high-quality wines without artifice and accessible to all. Come discover the Uijttewaal family, their history, the winemaking and barrel aging cellars and their wine, during a one-hour guided tour. Children are welcome. Grape juice tasting, aroma workshop and coloring await them!
