Tasting
After a guided tour of the property, from the Renaissance castle, to the historic cellar, including the ultra-modern vat room and the barrel cellar, it's time for tasting. Our guide will introduce you to his art in a fun and uninhibited way and will reveal the production secrets of the 4 families of wines produced at Château le Grand Verdus:

Sobre o anfitrião
The history of Grand Verdus wines is first and foremost that of a superb Renaissance-style manor house, built in 1579, nestled on the top of the Sadirac hills. The Grand Verdus is the expression of a unique geographical location, in the heart of a hilly and green landscape, and superb clay-limestone terroirs. The wines are joyful, original, lively, and faithful to their place of “birth”. It is also the story of the LE GRIX DE LA SALLE family, established in this residence since 1846, who gradually developed their vineyard to make it a renowned wine estate. After Philippe, then Antoine, still active within the estate, it is now his two sons Thomas and Edouard who are at the head of the property. Surrounded by a dynamic team, one is in the vineyard, the other in the cellar. Driven by an omnipresent ecological concern, their commitment is materialized by the “return to the sources”, and the conversion of the property to Organic Agriculture since 2020 and the implementation of agroecological practices (planting of hedges, trees, sowing of cereals , …). The property opens its doors to many visitors for fun and exciting visits, and has just received the “Best of Wine Tourism” Gold Prize in the “Architecture and Landscapes” category. The place is full of history and the whole team will welcome you with joy!
