Visit and tasting
Awaken your senses with an immersive visit to the Malherbes gravity-flow winery. After a stroll through the vineyards, where you'll witness firsthand our exceptional work in the vineyard, we'll observe our actual winemaking process and the key role of gravity in crafting Malherbes wines. You'll experience the winemaking process from the birth of the grapes to the barrel cellar. This immersive visit will be followed by a unique and fun activity, where your sense of smell will be put to the test, allowing you to interpret the wines' characteristics through their aromas. Will you be able to identify them? This activity includes a tasting of our three wines (Château de Malherbes Blanc and Rouge, and "Malherbes," our Grand Vin Rouge), an experience exploring wine aromas (Le Nez du Vin), and a playful search for the essences of Malherbes, further stimulating your senses.

Nestled on magnificent clay-limestone hillsides at the gates of Bordeaux, the Malherbes vineyard is a rare and even unique phenomenon: it is a peaceful natural setting allowing you both - to admire the city below... and to feel its energy. The gravitational state-of-the-art cellar was designed and built around the same objective: to make people feel, understand and recognize the meticulous and demanding work that is the wine-making. A wine that stirs the senses, that creates emotions, as it is born through constantly challenging and innovating the process, by infusing the purest traditions with a dose of new energy. Château de Malherbes is the energy of a place, a wine and a moment.
