Located in Vallet, in the heart of the Nantes region, Château de la Guipière is a wine estate steeped in history, dating back to the 15th century. Formerly known as La Guiptière, this former noble house and seigneury of Le Pallet has passed through the hands of several families. The estate's buildings, such as the stables, the saddlery, the orange grove, and the tower, are testament to Tuscan architecture. The château was built in the 19th century. Then, in the 20th century, the owner, unlucky in love, decided to ward off fate and burned the château down. Its 22-hectare vineyard is planted with Melon de Bourgogne and Gros Plant, the emblematic grape varieties of Muscadet and the Nantes region. The estate perpetuates the winemaking tradition by producing wines renowned for their finesse and expression of their terroir. Our various vintages are a testament to this.
