Tasting
The tour starts in the courtyard of the Château, with a historical presentation.
Afterwards, the visit will be followed by a tour in the vineyards (depending on the weather conditions), to discover the appellation, the work in the vineyards and the particular context of Sauternes. You will enjoy an exceptional view from our Belvedere, 3m60 from the ground.
In a third step, the discovery of the winery, with details and explanations on the winemaking process.
To conclude the visit of exceptional vintages, tasting of three Sauternes Château La Tour Blanche – 1er grand cru classé, 1855. Indeed, you will taste three vintages through the ages in order to discover the extraordinary evolution of a Sauternes Premier Cru Classé.

Vineyard certified High Environmental Value, Château La Tour Blanche is located on one of the gravelly ridges of Sauternes. This terroir allows it to produce gourmet, harmonious and balanced wines. Founded in the 18th century, Château La Tour Blanche, Sauternes 1er Cru Classé in 1855, is a 46 hectare estate located in Bommes. When he died, its last owner, Daniel "Osiris" Iffla, donated it to the French State on condition that a practical and free School of Viticulture and Oenology be created on site. Today the Château La Tour Blanche welcomes you for visits every day from Monday to Friday!
