Located in Languedoc, in the heart of the small Camargue, between the Etang de l'Or and the Cévennes, the Domaine Enclos de la Croix is operated and certified organic in the village of Lansargues. Created in 1814, the Enclos de la Croix estate took a big turn about 40 years ago. Aramon and Carignan have replaced Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Manseng and Riesling. Eight generations of a passionate family faithful to its terroir have successively taken in hand the wine growing of 23 hectares to lead it gradually towards organic farming. It started with a soft cultivation of soils (no chemical fertilizer, no pesticides) and a return to the traditions of our ancestors: animal traction and sheep to weed out winter.
