Sobre o anfitrião

The Château de Rayne Vigneau extends over 84 hectares on a vast hilltop overlooking the Sauternes region. Its subsoil of sandy gravel, sitting on a clay base, reveals astonishing riches, agates, sapphires, rock crystals, heralding a precious wine. The official classification of 1855 places Vigneau at Premiers Grands Crus Classés of Sauternes. In 1867, the great broker Daney gave it first place immediately after Yquem. It was Albert de Pontac, Madame de Rayne's nephew, who gave the name "Rayne Vigneau" to the property.
