Tasting
Discover the expression of Umbrian terroirs through a guided tasting of a selection of the winery's best labels.
Accompanied by the winery team, you will learn about the typical Montefalco grape varieties: Grechetto and Sagrantino. You will be surprised to discover how, thanks to different processing techniques, different expressions can be born from the same grape variety. The tasting includes: no. 2 different interpretations of Grechetto, no. 1 glass of rosé and no. 5 glasses of Sagrantino red wine.
Each glass will be paired with foods of our production: ham and focaccia, capocollo and bocconcello, various bruschettas, aged salami and sausage, 2 types of pecorino cheese with wine jelly, tozzetti. The wines and their pairings will be presented in a clear and accessible way, both for enthusiasts and for those who want to approach the wines of the Montefalco area.

Sobre o anfitrião
Cantina La Veneranda was founded in 2013 as a family-run business, led by Eleonora Alessandrelli and Anna Rita Scarca. Driven by a love for their land, inherited from their respective families, they passionately dedicate themselves to caring for the estate, committing themselves to promoting Montefalco wines and protecting the beautiful Umbrian landscape. In our approximately 20 hectares of vineyards, we grow the grapes for our wines, focusing in particular on preserving and promoting native varietals such as Sagrantino and Grechetto. We carefully monitor every stage of the production process: from tending the vines to harvesting, from winemaking to bottling and sales, to ensure the highest quality and authenticity. The privileged location of our winery offers an enchanting view of the rolling hills of Montefalco, making our winery a unique place to enjoy a glass of wine in a familiar, welcoming, and exclusive atmosphere.
