Tasting
A tasting of 5 red wines, each paired with typical foods from the Umbrian tradition. The sensory journey will allow you to taste all our red wines: Riccardo I Umbria IGT, Montefalco Rosso DOC, Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG, Elli Umbria IGT Rosso and the precious Sagrantino Passito DOCG.
Each glass will be expertly paired with artisan-crafted foods; we offer capocollo and bocconcello, salami and sausage, aged pecorino cheese with red wine jelly, a trio of bruschettas with extra virgin olive oil of our production, pâté and lentil and truffle sauce, and for a sweet conclusion, tozzetti paired with passito wine.
It's much more than a tasting: it's an invitation to discover the most authentic Umbria, to discover the passion we put into our work every day, and to share a glass of history with us.

Sobre o anfitrião
Cantina La Veneranda was founded in 2013 as a family-run business, led by Eleonora Alessandrelli and Anna Rita Scarca. Driven by a love for their land, inherited from their respective families, they passionately dedicate themselves to caring for the estate, committing themselves to promoting Montefalco wines and protecting the beautiful Umbrian landscape. In our approximately 20 hectares of vineyards, we grow the grapes for our wines, focusing in particular on preserving and promoting native varietals such as Sagrantino and Grechetto. We carefully monitor every stage of the production process: from tending the vines to harvesting, from winemaking to bottling and sales, to ensure the highest quality and authenticity. The privileged location of our winery offers an enchanting view of the rolling hills of Montefalco, making our winery a unique place to enjoy a glass of wine in a familiar, welcoming, and exclusive atmosphere.
