Tasting
The tasting includes a sampling of our white wines, 3 whites and 1 rosé, each paired with typical foods from the Umbrian tradition. The sensory experience will allow you to taste our 3 interpretations of Grechetto di Montefalco: 1 Annae sparkling Brut wine, Aureo Umbria IGT and Montefalco Grechetto DOC 100%, and finally our rosé from Sagrantino grapes Federico II Umbria IGT. In our tastings, we always offer typical foods of our production as pairings, in this case you will taste: fresh pecorino cheese served with white wine jelly, bruschetta with onion sauce, and cured ham with torta al testo (typical Umbrian focaccia). In a land mainly dedicated to red wines, you will discover how the white part of Umbria is also very interesting and peculiar in all its interpretations.

Sobre o anfitrião
Cantina La Veneranda was founded in 2013 as a family-run business, led by Eleonora Alessandrelli and Anna Rita Scarca. Driven by a love for their land, inherited from their respective families, they passionately dedicate themselves to caring for the estate, committing themselves to promoting Montefalco wines and protecting the beautiful Umbrian landscape. In our approximately 20 hectares of vineyards, we grow the grapes for our wines, focusing in particular on preserving and promoting native varietals such as Sagrantino and Grechetto. We carefully monitor every stage of the production process: from tending the vines to harvesting, from winemaking to bottling and sales, to ensure the highest quality and authenticity. The privileged location of our winery offers an enchanting view of the rolling hills of Montefalco, making our winery a unique place to enjoy a glass of wine in a familiar, welcoming, and exclusive atmosphere.
