Visit and tasting
The guided tour offers a fascinating journey into the heart of the Valpolicella wine-making tradition. The experience begins in the Appassimento Museum, dedicated to the grape drying technique, continues in the Caveau with some of the winery's historical bottles, and proceeds to the Barrel Room, where the wines age in wood until they reach their best expression.
The tour ends in the tasting room, where five wines representative of the territory are offered: Soave Cru, Valpolicella Superiore, Ripasso, Amarone della Valpolicella, and Recioto.
To accompany the tasting, breadsticks or small savory snacks are provided. Upon reservation, it is possible to enrich the experience with platters of selected local cured meats and cheeses, for a perfect food and wine pairing. Gluten-free products are available upon request.
An experience designed for those who wish to deepen their knowledge of the wines of Cantina di Negrar, following an itinerary that combines history, method, and tasting.

For over ninety years, Cantina Valpolicella Negrar has embodied the history and excellence of the Valpolicella Classica winemaking tradition and its flagship wine, Amarone. A legacy we are proud of and that continues to shape our journey. Since 1933, this historic cooperative winery located just outside Verona in northeastern Italy has safeguarded an extraordinary human and territorial heritage: 240 members who, generation after generation, tend 700 hectares of vineyards spread across the hills of Valpolicella Classica, the beating heart of our production. Our mission is to perpetuate and promote the rich local winemaking tradition, combining authentic terroir values with modern techniques and constant research aimed at quality and sustainability, recognizing that each wine is the fruit of a unique synergy between the shared knowledge of expert winemakers and innovative technicians.
